Panthers To Play UConn in 2023, 2024

 

Georgia State will face the UConn Huskies on the football field in back-to-back seasons in 2023 and 2024, the school announced Wednesday afternoon. This home-and-home series completes the Panthers’ non-conference schedules for both years, meaning that Georgia State’s football schedule slate is now fully complete through 2024.

The first game will welcome the Huskies to Georgia State Stadium on September 9th, 2023. The Panthers will make the return trip to UConn’s Rentschler Field the following year on November 2nd to complete the series.

At the beginning of July, UConn officially rejoined their previous home in the Big East Conference for all sports except football after a stint in the American Athletic Conference from 2013-2020. At this time, the Huskies remain an FBS Independent for football.
