Men’s Basketball 2020-2021 Schedule Complete

Georgia State announced their updated 2020-2021 out-of-conference slate for Men’s Basketball on Thursday, adding to the previously announced modified conference schedule for the Panthers.  Georgia State opens the 2020-2021 season by traveling just up the road to Georgia Tech on Wednesday, Nov. 25 in the first meeting between the two teams since the Panthers defeated the Yellow Jackets 65-58 in a charity exhibition on Oct. 28, 2017. The Panthers will open their season at home against the Toccoa Falls College Screaming Eagles, a NCCAA team from Toccoa Falls, GA.

Highlighting the remainder of Georgia State’s short list of non-conference games this season are a home-and-home with Mercer University and a home game against the College of Charleston who were 2018 Colonial Athletic Association champions and appeared in the NCAA tournament that year against Auburn.

The Sun Belt Conference season will run from December 31st until February 27th 2021. This will be the first season the Sun Belt plays its conference tournament in Pensacola, Florida instead of New Orleans, Louisiana. The Sun Belt Conference Championship is scheduled to begin on March 5th, with the Conference Championship Game scheduled for March 8th.
