Following an 2019-2020 campaign that ended in a lackluster 8-21 finish, Head Coach Gene Hill and his squad will look to rediscover the success they found in his first season.

The Panthers will open Sun Belt play against Appalachian State on December 31st and continue a four-game home stand through the new year. South Alabama and Troy are the first away opponents as Georgia State embarks on an Alabama road trip between January 14th and 16th.

“We’re excited to be playing this season and one of the things we’ve talked about is we are taking it day-by-day and we’re treating each day like its our last, like the season could end at any moment,” Hill said in a GSU press release.

Capping off the regular season, the Panthers will travel to the Carolinas to face Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State at the end of February before making their first trip to Pensacola, Florida for the Sun Belt Tournament.
