Georgia State hit a season-high 15 three-pointers and locked up on defense down the stretch to close out on the road against South Alabama.

The rain fell in Downtown Atlanta Saturday afternoon, and inside the GSU Sports Arena it was three-pointers that fell as the Panthers made 13 in an impressive 84-62 victory over the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks. Justin Roberts (23 pts, 3 rebounds, 2 assists) led the aerial assault, going 7-9 from behind the arc.

Georgia State came storming out of the gates, jumping to a 24-point lead in the game’s first ten minutes to dominate the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns in the Sports Arena Thursday night.

The Georgia State Panthers dropped their second consecutive road contest, falling to the Arkansas State Red Wolves 90-87 in a back-and-forth affair.

A sloppy night controlling the ball doomed Georgia State as they fell in the middle game of their three-game road trip to Coastal Carolina 74-72.

Georgia State got a balanced effort on offense, led by freshman Jalen Thomas’ career-high 14 points, and stellar defense to hang on for a 69-60 win over Appalachian State.
